Todd Martin, III – Board Chair
Martin is the CEO of Southland Capital Realty Group, a firm that owns and manages tenant apartment complexes, shopping centers and multi-tenant business buildings throughout the southeast. In addition to Autism2Ability, Martin also serves on the corporate boards of Evolution Technology Group, Focus MD, and St. Margaret’s of Charlotte, NC and previously served on the boards of Allied Williams Companies, ServiceMaster Distributor Services, and ServiceMaster Franchise Association. He is a civic board member at the Men of St. Joseph. University of Alabama 1977-82 Major: Industrial Management. Martin holds the State of Alabama Licensed Insurance Certification for Agent Property, Casualty and General Liability. He is a St. Stephens Minister.
Jennifer Williams – Board Secretary
M.S., BCBA – Jennifer received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Auburn University from 2000-2005. She began working in the field of intellectual disabilities in undergraduate school as an in-home therapist for children with Autism. She then worked for East Alabama Mental Health as a program director for adults diagnosed with intellectual disability and mental illness. After graduate school she moved to Mobile, Alabama and worked at the Learning Tree, Inc. for 8 years serving as a Behavior Analyst, Coordinator of Behavioral Services, and Regional Director. Jennifer currently works for the Mobile County Public School System as the Behavior Specialist Manager.
Jenna McCammon Bedsole
Jenna Bedsole is an attorney with more than fifteen years of experience in education and employment law. She is currently a partner with the Labor and Employment Section of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. in Birmingham, AL where she manages litigation and client development. Jenna was previously an attorney with Lloyd, Gray, Whitehead and Monroe, P.C. and a Pension and 401(k) Administrator with Bankers Trust Company. Jenna earned both her B.A. in English, magna cum laude, and her J.D. at the University of Alabama where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa. Bedsole has served on numerous boards including the Blackburn Institute, Birmingham Bar Association, and Alabama State Bar Leadership Forum, and is a member of various organizations including The Women’s Network, Alabama State Bar Mentoring Task Force, and the Birmingham Bar Association. She has been published in Alabama School Boards Magazine and The Alabama Lawyer.
Hunt Griffith
Financial Advisor – Morgan Stanley Wealth Management – Hunt began his career with Morgan Stanley in 2011. He is Series 7 and Series 66 licensed. A native of Mobile, Hunt is a graduate of the University of South Alabama where he earned his Bachelor’s in Accounting. In addition to excelling in the classroom at South Alabama, Hunt excelled as a baseball player as well, earning a scholarship and other recognitions for his talent and leadership. He serves on the Senior Bowl committee and is a member of the National Alumni Association of the University of South Alabama. Hunt enjoys golf and coaching baseball.
Myra Slayton
Speech-language pathologist – Myra is currently employed by the Mobile County Public School System. Mrs. Slayton holds a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Alabama. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is licensed by the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Her 13-year career includes both educational and private practice settings. Mrs. Slayton has received extensive formal and informal training in augmentative and alternative communication methods. Her areas of professional interest include augmentative and alternative communication and childhood apraxia of speech. Mrs. Slayton is a passionate advocate for children with special needs and their parents. She has been an active member of the Bay Area Speech and Hearing Association for more than a decade, having held the office of President from 2015-2017 and currently serving as Secretary.
